Excited to be back!
Hello friends! I hope this finds each of you doing well!
It has been some time since I have been on my blog and have missed connecting with each of you. Since my last blog, we have made it almost through 2 seasons (Spring and Summer), ended one school year and started another, endured heat and drought and hopefully was able to enjoy some summer fun with family and friends.
As I look back over the past 6+ months, I would like to share with you some of the exciting things that have been going on. First, I have completed 2 nutrition workshops at the Aledo Volleyball Club with more to come. I love sharing my passions with our young adults to help them understand how nutrition fuels their bodies, both on and off the court. I hope to share these workshops with more young ladies in Q4. Second, I have been able to work with several new clients on their fitness goals, which are just as important as nutrition goals. Watching a client grow in strength and endurance is a wonderful experience. And third, I am continuing my nutrition education with the PN1 Nutrition Certification and hope to have this completed by November 1. This certification gives me more in-depth knowledge of the science of nutrition so that I can better serve my clients.
As I continue my business growth, I have also added a personal growth goal that I am beyond excited to share with you. It is something I have wanted to do for years and just have not taken the step forward….to many excuses to name! I have scheduled a Fitness and Lifestyle photoshoot for January 18, 2023! So, over the next couple of months, I will document my journey of preparation, which will include everything from nutrition to fitness. This will also work as my accountability of staying on track 😊 I have 20 weeks before the shoot and feel like I will need a solid 12 weeks of prep. I am in the planning stages right now and will give more details in next week’s blog post. Stay tuned….
Here’s to wishing everyone a fabulous Labor Day Weekend!
Cheers to health, wellness and happiness
Julie
